Israel Introduces Bill to Outlaw Teaching The Gospel of Jesus Christ, Sentence Violators to Prison

In case anyone needed anymore proof that 2023 is slowly becoming the year of persecution beginning, there is now a bill that has been introduced which seeks to outlaw teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ.  This recent news comes as the AI machine catalogs everyone as layed out in my most recent podcast.  Folks, I’m not kidding when I tell you these plans are well underway and have been for some time now.  It doesn’t matter that the bill hasn’t passed yet.  What it demonstrates is the season we’ve entered.  So what are the hidden powers that be waiting for?  Discernment should suggest they will likely make it law in the right ‘crisis.’  As for us, we need to make sure we are setting our faces like flint in determination NEVER to deny Jesus because eventually this will be coming to America (what’s left of it) and elsewhere.  This is why I tell you to stop wasting time on earthly matters when the issue at hand is spiritual and your salvation depends on it.  Everyone has a role to lead lost souls and should boldly continue to proclaim their faith in Jesus and not be in fear to share the gospel of Jesus, the prophets, the apostles and do all to stand in the truth in that evil day of danger.  I will never shy away from sharing the Holy Word nor will I deny the truth as it is written as scripture unfolds.  You will always get the truth here; Even if it may seem uncomfortable at first, truth must always be presented as it pertains to scripture unfolding so that the true salvation may come by showing the lost what’s really going on and that they too may become redeemed.  Special thanks to RoverRadar for pointing this out to me this morning.  New podcast coming soon.

And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel (Eph 6:19)

Two influential members of Israel’s Knesset have introduced a bill to outlaw teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ in Israel and sentence violators to prison.

Israel already bans Christians from proselytizing minors but this new bill will go even further and “ban any and all efforts to tell people about Jesus.”

JERUSALEM, ISRAEL – Is it possible that the Israeli government this year could pass legislation making it illegal for people to share the Gospel message in the very land where Jesus was born, raised, preached, died, buried and rose from the dead?

Unfortunately, yes.

As Palm Sunday and Easter approach – the two most sacred days on the calendar for those who follow Jesus as both God and Messiah – two members of the Knesset (Israel’s parliament) introduced a bill last week that would ban any and all efforts to tell people about Jesus.

The bill would send violators to prison.

The proposed legislation would outlaw all efforts by people of one faith who, in any way, want to discuss or try to persuade people of other faiths to consider changing their current religious beliefs.

The punishment for doing so would be “one year imprisonment.”

If the conversation is with minor – someone under the age of 18 – the punishment would be “two years imprisonment.”

This bill would apply to people having spiritual conversations with Israelis of any religion.

However, in their official explanation of the bill, the two Israeli legislators specifically emphasized the warning to stop Christians, in particular.

The bill’s primary objective, therefore, appears to be making it illegal for followers of Jesus (“Yeshua” in Hebrew) to explain why they believe that Jesus is both Messiah and God with the hope that Israelis might consider following Him.

The bill does not only make a simple personal conversation about Jesus with another individual a crime.

It would also make it illegal for “someone who solicits a person – directly, digitally, by mail or online – in order to convert his religion.”

Thus, producing and publishing online videos explaining the Gospel to Jewish or Muslim people in Israel – and to those of any other religious faiths – would suddenly become illegal.

Publishing books, other printed literature, online articles, podcasts, or other forms of media that explains the life and ministry of Jesus and His message found in the New Testament would also become illegal.

So would discussing the Gospel message via email, text messages, written letters and/or on social media, including answering questions initiated by people who don’t follow Jesus.

***UPDATE 3/22/2023***   Netanyahu says in Twitter post that Israel WILL NOT pass bill banning Christianity.

Though this is good news, I still caution believers everywhere to remain vigilant as it’s clear events are escalating in regards to scripture being fulfilled and Jesus forewarned us of these times.  The fact alone that it was introduced at a timing in line with wars and rumors of wars, bank failures, etc. does not mean we should go back to sleep.

Ephesians 6:10-20

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

Isaiah 50:7

For the Lord God will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.

Luke 21:12-19

12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name’s sake.

13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony.

14 Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer:

15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.

16 And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.

17 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake.

18 But there shall not an hair of your head perish.

19 In your patience possess ye your souls.

2 Timothy 2: 9-13

Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound.

10 Therefore I endure all things for the elect’s sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

11 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:

12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:

13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

2 Timothy 3:10-13

10 But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,

11 Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.

12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

Revelation 12:11

11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Revelation 14:12

12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

  1. I hope the Christian Churches speak up about this…they send millions to Israel. Our state department is busy criticizing Israel for making democratic changes to their courts yet this proposed law is ignored. Read up about Noahide laws which our government supports….Laws that state it is illegal to recognize any God other than Jehovah Elohim. Worshiping Jesus as the son of God and Trinity would be a death sentence. I wonder if this new law is under the Noahide laws.

Brothers and sisters…we know this is coming here and we will face grave persecution. Prepare your hearts, decide today who you serve. Read an old saint who was imprisoned in the notorious English Newgate prison for preaching the full gospel. Pastor John Flavel died at the age 60. He wrote numerous books, one I highly recommend, “Preparations for Suffering”. You can find an audio reading on YouTube. This precious saint teaches that we are able to endure suffering if we know and stand on God’s promises. God bless and keep you.

    1. Yes and what many also don’t know is that certain leadership in this country have supported the Noahide laws and their contingency plans involve guillotines. It has been planned and refined since at least 1990-1991 from what I have seen. But the most recent update was between 2016-2018 and if everyone knew just how far down the river we’ve been sold out they would be left speechless. What I found had horrific detail as to the plans for dealing with Christians in persecution. Needless to say I didn’t sleep well that night and what I saw grieved me deeply. God Bless Martha and thank you for sharing.
