‘Pull Close To Me’

There are many trials upon My children.  If you will pull close to Me I shall pull you through.  When you feel these trials upon you be blessed for I am strengthening your faith in Me for the times upon you.  Pull close to Me in these times as the enemy will try to use these trials to tempt you into sin.  Pray to Me. Worship Me. Ignore the temptations of worldly comfort for though they may seem an escape they cannot provide that which I am able.  Can time with an idol provide you peace? Nay.  Can an idol provide you love? Nay. Peace of mind stays with you when you spend time in My presence.  Do not focus on the negative.  Stay focused on Me for I am the grace you need to sustain.  I see all that the wicked do.  Though it may seem to you nothing is happening -their deeds shall I recompense.

1 Thessalonians 5: 1-4 (NKJV)

But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night.

For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief.

1 Peter 5: 6-8 (NKJV)

6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time 7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. 8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

2 Corinthians 12: 9-10 (NKJV)

And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Colossians 3:2 (NKJV)

Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.

Deuteronomy 32: 31-35 (NKJV)

31 But the rock of our enemies is not like our Rock,
    as even they recognize.
32 Their vine grows from the vine of Sodom,
    from the vineyards of Gomorrah.
Their grapes are poison,
    and their clusters are bitter.
33 Their wine is the venom of serpents,
    the deadly poison of cobras.

34 “The Lord says, ‘Am I not storing up these things,
    sealing them away in my treasury?
35 I will take revenge; I will pay them back.
    In due time their feet will slip.
Their day of disaster will arrive,
    and their destiny will overtake them.’

Ephesians 4:26-27 (NKJV)

26 “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, 27 nor give place to the devil.

Ephesians 6: 11-12 (NKJV)

11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Isaiah 5: 20 (NKJV)

20 Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness;
Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

James 1: 2-4 (NKJV)

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

James 4:7-10 (NKJV)

7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

9 Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom.

10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.

Mark 4: 18-19 (NKJV)

18 Now these are the ones sown among thorns; they are the ones who hear the word, 19 and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.

Matthew 6: 6-8 (NKJV)

But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.

“Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.

Philippians 4:13 (NKJV)

13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Proverbs 4: 25-26 (NKJV)

25 Let your eyes look straight ahead,
And your eyelids look right before you.
26 Ponder the path of your feet,
And let all your ways be established.

Proverbs 20: 22-23 (NKJV)

22 Don’t say, “I will get even for this wrong.”
    Wait for the Lord to handle the matter.

23 The Lord detests double standards;
    he is not pleased by dishonest scales.

Psalm 1: 1-6 (NKJV)

Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;

But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
And in His law he meditates day and night.
He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.

The ungodly are not so,
But are like the chaff which the wind drives away.
Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment,
Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

For the Lord knows the way of the righteous,
But the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Psalm 27:14 (NKJV)

14 Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD!

Psalm 62: 1-8 (NKJV)

Truly my soul silently waits for God;
From Him comes my salvation.
He only is my rock and my salvation;
He is my defense;
I shall not be greatly moved.

How long will you attack a man?
You shall be slain, all of you,
Like a leaning wall and a tottering fence.
They only consult to cast him down from his high position;
They delight in lies;
They bless with their mouth,
But they curse inwardly. Selah

My soul, wait silently for God alone,
For my expectation is from Him.
He only is my rock and my salvation;
He is my defense;
I shall not be moved.
In God is my salvation and my glory;
The rock of my strength,
And my refuge, is in God.

Trust in Him at all times, you people;
Pour out your heart before Him;
God is a refuge for us. Selah

Romans 12:19 (NKJV)

19 Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.

  1. One of my favourite scriptures is the story of the Samaritan woman at the well. Time in prayer is going to the well and drawing from the living waters of God. In prayer time, God can refresh and restore us. Time in prayer is the most valuable time of my day. Now, I can’t go a day without prayer time.

    1. Absolutely! I have not posted too much lately because I have been drawing in a lot to study and pray on many words given to me. Some of them I will be sharing here shortly but a few are personal with the direction I believe the Lord is leading me. I just posted a brief audio message. This really does not count as a podcast just a quick update on what’s been taking place behind the scenes. The Lord has told me He will be revealing some coming events to me so I have just been still a lot and pulling scriptures to highlight and study. I am feeling He is doing this with many of His children right now and there is a very important reason for all of it. We have to just be patient and not lean into our own understanding. For me, He has been silent at times but that is usually when He wants me to spend more time in His Word and seeking Him. I get the feeling something big is about to be revealed to many of us. Stand strong sister, we are all with you!

  2. I will stand in agreement with what Audrey posted. It is similar with me, but not so much in terms of “formal” prayer. Rather, I have come to realize after the passage of time that where before I barely thought of things eternal much less Jesus Christ, I now have thoughts constantly. And I dream now more than ever. But of course I’ve come under severe attack from the world and all of its distractions and ridiculousness. Indeed, time in prayer (however creative or unconventional that prayer may appear to be) is most valuable.

    1. Amen. There is quite a bit of that taking place lately and I believe many of us are being shown something right now. I know I have drawn in a lot. I have had some personal revelations given to me as to direction but have also been given a few revelations and confirmations where things are going and then taking time to reflect where we are. This is nothing new to me as it has happened before and patience is key. Sometimes you have to slow down to reflect on what the Lord wants to show you. I am right there with you Brother!

    2. Yes. Jesus desires to be at one with us. I suppose it’s like this-the only way to get to know someone is by investing time into that person and it’s the same with Jesus. Keeping it simple works for me, like say when I’m cycling, I thank Him for His creation and talk to Him like He’s right beside me. He says we must be like children. Take joy in His presence and delight in Him.
