New Podcast: Made Right By Faith, Not By Keeping The Law

On this episode of the Innocence Redeemed podcast I will be talking about how we are made right by our faith in Jesus Christ and not by trying to keep the law or the ‘just stop it’ mentality which helps nobody overcome their sinful desires.  Many give up when first trying because the promise of salvation is never thoroughly explained to them in one sitting, therefore they find it next to near impossible to give up their sin when they call on the Lord and often end up succumbing to self-defeat.  No my friends, only when you invite Jesus into your heart and fill your daily life with His Word and prayer is He established within you which strengthens you to where the sin is no longer desired.   In this podcast I hope to put this question to rest, that you are saved by God’s grace when He sent Jesus to shed His blood on the cross -Not by trying to walk on eggshells to keep the law.

  1. Thank you, Brother Ray, for addressing the difficult things. For laying it on the line and not mincing words. There’s way too much inspidness amongst professing Christians where few it seems are inclined to speak boldly. You, Ray, give an example of how to be loving…tough but loving…and merciful indeed.

    I love you, Brother.

    1. Hey there Brother Tom! I think you may be referring to the first 10-12 minutes of the podcast so my response will be based on that. I tried to present it as gently as possible but to also bring conviction on the small things that seem to go unnoticed much of the time. All I can say (Christians) need to get real and I only pray that I continue to speak boldly for the Lord because, like what I say or not, the Lord’s Word will never be chained as to how it applies. It has come to my attention also that since this podcast, I am hearing of more instances of this kind of stuff happening (meaning similar to what I presented in the beginning regarding the TP). There’s just no reason for it. Either we believe the Word and put it into practice, being the hands and feet of Jesus or we don’t. And if we don’t, then where does that leave us? Are we nailing Jesus to the cross all over again by treating one another with apathy/contempt and not being obedient to the Word of God?

I said back in June that the true colors would begin coming out and indeed, we are starting to see that and have been for some time now. It is only my hope and prayer people repent because I don’t want to think what awaits those who continue to show disdain and dismissal to the Word. I know it’s hard times for many, but the number one command of Jesus was to show mercy (love) to one another and feed His sheep and follow the golden rule of treating one as we would want to be treated. Do we expect mercy in what comes if we aren’t willing to show it ourselves, now? It doesn’t end well based on what the prophets of old have said and the things I have been shown in dreams.

I said at the beginning that the podcast was for new believers but based on what I’ve witnessed and heard, it seems it ought to be a reminder for everyone. Are we perfect? No, but we need to also stop using that excuse as a crutch/copout and understand the basics. And yes these are the most fundamental basics when it comes to what the living God desires of all of us. I show tough love because I have been there. I have been where many have been in my own circumstances and treated horribly throughout the years at times and it’s amazing to me how in the end times we have those more offended over words (or the WORD itself) rather than being a doer of that WORD. All I can say is everyone will give an account for what they did here on earth. All of us will stand before the Lord one day and He knows everyone’s thoughts and sees everyone’s actions or lack thereof.

Many Blessings and Love to you too Brother. Thank you for your support.
