Seeing The Blessing In What Seems to Be a Loss

The things that were once important will not matter soon.  While many are concerned about job loss as a tragedy, consider the Lord is giving you a chance to refine your faith in Him as this will be tantamount in the times now upon us.  I want everyone to be consoled when they read this because in short I want to give my personal testimony here as to what my experience was and how it worked out for good as well as the Lord’s protection.

Around 2011, the company I worked for test piloted the annual flu vaccine to see who would comply with it.  They ‘claimed’ it was for the safety of the patients, except, I didn’t work in an actual healthcare facility; I worked in the corporate office -but this didn’t matter.  They ‘claimed’ in the 2011 season, that rumors to make it mandatory were false and there were no such plans to make it mandatory but wisdom spoke, and at the time I called it out anyway to co-workers and said, ‘Mark my words it will be for the 2012 flu season and they will say take the shot or lose your job.’ Sure enough in October 2012, an email went out stating that all employees had until December 1 to become compliant and take the flu shot or else it would be considered a ‘voluntary separation of employment’ from the company.

At the time I had to submit to the vaccination but this was a flu shot of which I had the option to take one without the heavy metals or preservatives.  I didn’t see it back then the same way, but I still didn’t agree with it.  It wasn’t an experimental trial with damaging consequences both physically and spiritually, but it goes to show it was an early on dress rehearsal with regard to compliance which is now coming into the full agenda, leading up to the mark of the beast.  It is paving the way for the policy and as folks submit to it, it becomes commonplace because the powers that be have you where they want you.  First it will be your career/job, next to buy or sell and travel.  QR codes and passports, soon to be a chip or holographic tattoo (do a search Bill Gates Quantum Dot Tattoo).  I imagine they will probably start refusing patients at some point, also in the name of ‘keeping you safe’ but what we are really seeing is a real-time rehearsal of Revelation 13:17.

In November of 2018 (note this date for later), my employment came to an end as I resigned on the spot.  I turned in my laptop, collected my remaining vacation pay, wished them well and that was it.  Now there were many reasons behind my decision, the main one being that I had already been there for over ten years and they were ending my position and as a result, I didn’t feel like I had the ability to set long-term goals, not knowing whether or not any position I may have applied to would be there a year later.  I felt it was time to part ways and I was greatly frustrated about their lack of concern for my situation but when you work for a big corporation, they simply don’t care.  The bottom dollar is all they see even at the expense of great people.  Looking back now, should I have been surprised at this considering now they want people to take a shot that has who knows what, all in it?  What this further demonstrates is that the world DOES NOT have your best interests at heart and to clamor for that, could at some point mean your soul and this is why prudence is so important because it is the wisdom of the Lord that keeps us protected and enables us to make wise decisions.

Proverbs 8: 7-14 (NLT)

for I speak the truth and detest every kind of deception.
My advice is wholesome. There is nothing devious or crooked in it.
My words are plain to anyone with understanding, clear to those with knowledge.
10 Choose my instruction rather than silver, and knowledge rather than pure gold.
11 For wisdom is far more valuable than rubies. Nothing you desire can compare with it.

12 “I, Wisdom, live together with good judgment. I know where to discover knowledge and discernment.
13 All who fear the Lord will hate evil. Therefore, I hate pride and arrogance, corruption and perverse speech.
14 Common sense and success belong to me. Insight and strength are mine.

Last week, I recorded a podcast with Glynda and reposted it on my feed as well in regards to the white horse but in this we also talked about what to do if you faced a hard choice regarding employment.  This morning on 7/21, it came to my attention that the company I used to work for is telling it’s employees that they have until November 1st to take the Covid vaccination or face a voluntary separation of employment.  Ironic, it is three years to the date I resigned.  The Lord protected me and through it all he took care of me.  He showed me how to fully trust HIM.

I said in the podcast that if I were faced with a choice to keep my job or take an experimental injection, I would resign and I meant it.  If I did it for the aforementioned reasons that I mentioned earlier, I certainly would have no problem resigning if I were faced with a transhumanist injection and my job being dangled as the carrot.  And, speaking of carrots being dangled, as you may recall me talking about in my podcast ‘Time Is Running Out,’ according to this article, they are even offering employees $10,000 incentives to take it.  That is to retain employees.  That would not work on me.  I still wouldn’t.  How dare they put a price on my life or your life for that matter?  Are we not more important to God?

What good is any amount of money if you have multiple ailments from an experimental shot that has been demonstrated to be killing thousands?  Is your job worth that?  Your soul?

After I left my job at Banner, I took a brief temp job, but it was clear that I was floating because the temp job was miserable and tedious.  What I didn’t realize was that the Lord was calling me.  I went through a period of months of applying for jobs with no bite.  I had a good resume, but nothing.  I felt worthless.  I felt I had no direction.  My friends I thought I had, all but disappeared.  I sinned like no tomorrow.   I literally had a nervous break down a few times.  I didn’t care and did just about anything I could do within reach to try and numb the pain.

My spirit was crying out.  One night I was in a tailspin, and that’s when the Lord grabbed hold of me and said He was giving me one last chance to repent.  This shook me to my core because the Lord had blessed me for many years and even then I still didn’t heed his calling.  But on this night, I submitted to Him.  I fell down a few times at first, but I kept going.  I was repenting.  What I had to do was humble myself and bow down at His feet and ask for forgiveness with tears.

I had entered a wilderness -a refining and didn’t know it.  I didn’t know He was calling me to serve Him for this time; starting an end-times ministry.  I went through a year and a half of having no income, not knowing where my next food would come from, how I would pay for my phone or other expenses but he enabled my family to help me through it.  There were times I didn’t have much to eat but the Lord came through and made sure I was taken care of.  I began to study the Word of God, I delve hard into it and I began to pray and confess every single sin I could think of.  I began to worship and listen to worship music.  I prayed and cried out for forgiveness and healing over many years of being backslidden.  This was the pattern throughout most of 2019.  It wasn’t until early to mid-2020 I had a breakthrough and the Lord revealed to me what my purpose was.  I felt led to write, but I didn’t know why.  I didn’t know until February 2021 that I would be starting a blog.  I didn’t know until a few months later I would be doing podcasts.  But you see, the whole purpose in explaining all of this is so that you can see that you never know where the Lord will lead you.  But it all begins with submitting to Him when you feel Him pulling on you.  He wants His people to repent and call on Him as the end is near.

In this season, many will be facing similar choices when it comes to their jobs.  It will be a refining the Lord desires before He takes us home.  This does not mean that everyone will experience it the same as I did, as some experience it in different ways but what should be understood is He desires repentance.  What level of refining is required how He does it, depends on the person and the refining is often more intense for those He calls to serve Him and do Kingdom works.  But the Word tells us we all have gifts (1 Cor 12) that can be used to serve His purpose whether it be in serving others, preaching, witnessing, encouraging, etc. and I believe He is going to be raising up many in these last days as the harvest is great but the workers are few.

Matthew 9:37 (NLT)

37 He said to his disciples, “The harvest is great, but the workers are few.

Don’t lose heart my friends and don’t worry for if you have called on the Lord He will see you through.  In my case, while I was well aware of what was happening in the world and the New World Order, spiritually, where I was once blind, now I can see.  We often don’t understand why these things happen.  But we have to trust that the Lord has a greater purpose for us when He leads us out of a past season and into a new one.  It is my prayer that this blog is a blessing to you and may shine light on what you may be experiencing.  Remember that the Lord makes all things work together for good, so though you may initially suffer at first, know it is for the better and as of this morning, when I saw the article about the company I worked for making it mandatory to take the covid shot, I rejoiced and praised the Lord for getting me out of there, but at the same time, I feel sadness for those who will now be going into the wilderness and not being sure what they are going to do.  Know that in this season your salvation, your redemption in Christ will be more important than anything in the world or anything that the world can offer you.

Trust in Jesus my friends.  Allow Him to refine you.  Allow Him to lead you.  He WILL bless you!

Additional verses as they pertain to the above;

John 9:25 (NLT)

25 “I don’t know whether he is a sinner,” the man replied. “But I know this: I was blind, and now I can see!”

Mattthew 11:29-30 (NLT)

29 Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”

Romans 8:28 (NLT)

28 And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

2 Timothy 2: 3, 10-14, 19 (NLT)

Endure suffering along with me, as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. Soldiers don’t get tied up in the affairs of civilian life, for then they cannot please the officer who enlisted them.

10 So I am willing to endure anything if it will bring salvation and eternal glory in Christ Jesus to those God has chosen.

11 This is a trustworthy saying: If we die with him, we will also live with him.
12 If we endure hardship, we will reign with him. If we deny him, he will deny us.
13 If we are unfaithful, he remains faithful, for he cannot deny who he is.

14 Remind everyone about these things, and command them in God’s presence to stop fighting over words. Such arguments are useless, and they can ruin those who hear them.

19 But God’s truth stands firm like a foundation stone with this inscription: “The Lord knows those who are his, “and “All who belong to the Lord must turn away from evil.”

1 Peter 4: 7, 12-19 (NLT)

The end of the world is coming soon. Therefore, be earnest and disciplined in your prayers.

12 Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you. 13 Instead, be very glad—for these trials make you partners with Christ in his suffering, so that you will have the wonderful joy of seeing his glory when it is revealed to all the world.

14 If you are insulted because you bear the name of Christ, you will be blessed, for the glorious Spirit of God rests upon you.18 And also,

“If the righteous are barely saved,
    what will happen to godless sinners?”

19 So if you are suffering in a manner that pleases God, keep on doing what is right, and trust your lives to the God who created you, for he will never fail you.

2 Peter 1: 3-8 (NLT)

By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.

In view of all this, make every effort to respond to God’s promises. Supplement your faith with a generous provision of moral excellence, and moral excellence with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with patient endurance, and patient endurance with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love for everyone.

The more you grow like this, the more productive and useful you will be in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ

2 Peter 3: 3-15 (NLT)

Most importantly, I want to remind you that in the last days scoffers will come, mocking the truth and following their own desires. They will say, “What happened to the promise that Jesus is coming again? From before the times of our ancestors, everything has remained the same since the world was first created.”

They deliberately forget that God made the heavens long ago by the word of his command, and he brought the earth out from the water and surrounded it with water. Then he used the water to destroy the ancient world with a mighty flood. And by the same word, the present heavens and earth have been stored up for fire. They are being kept for the day of judgment, when ungodly people will be destroyed.

But you must not forget this one thing, dear friends: A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day. The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent. 10 But the day of the Lord will come as unexpectedly as a thief. Then the heavens will pass away with a terrible noise, and the very elements themselves will disappear in fire, and the earth and everything on it will be found to deserve judgment.

11 Since everything around us is going to be destroyed like this, what holy and godly lives you should live, 12 looking forward to the day of God and hurrying it along. On that day, he will set the heavens on fire, and the elements will melt away in the flames. 13 But we are looking forward to the new heavens and new earth he has promised, a world filled with God’s righteousness.

14 And so, dear friends, while you are waiting for these things to happen, make every effort to be found living peaceful lives that are pure and blameless in his sight.

15 And remember, our Lord’s patience gives people time to be saved. This is what our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you with the wisdom God gave him

Ephesians 3: 12-13 (NLT)

12 Because of Christ and our faith in him, we can now come boldly and confidently into God’s presence. 13 So please don’t lose heart because of my trials here. I am suffering for you, so you should feel honored.

Hebrews 13:5-7 (NLT)

Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said,

“I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.”

So we can say with confidence,

“The Lord is my helper, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?”

Remember your leaders who taught you the word of God. Think of all the good that has come from their lives, and follow the example of their faith.

Isaiah 41:13 (NLT)

13 For I hold you by your right hand— I, the LORD your God. And I say to you, ‘Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you.

Joshua 24:15 (NLT)

15 But if you refuse to serve the Lord, then choose today whom you will serve. Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates? Or will it be the gods of the Amorites in whose land you now live? But as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.”

Luke 8:15 (NLT)

15 And the seeds that fell on the good soil represent honest, good-hearted people who hear God’s word, cling to it, and patiently produce a huge harvest.

Luke 12: 33-32 (NLT)

22 Then, turning to his disciples, Jesus said, “That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food to eat or enough clothes to wear. 23 For life is more than food, and your body more than clothing. 24 Look at the ravens. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for God feeds them. And you are far more valuable to him than any birds! 25 Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? 26 And if worry can’t accomplish a little thing like that, what’s the use of worrying over bigger things?

27 “Look at the lilies and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. 28 And if God cares so wonderfully for flowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?

29 “And don’t be concerned about what to eat and what to drink. Don’t worry about such things. 30 These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers all over the world, but your Father already knows your needs. 31 Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and he will give you everything you need.

32 “So don’t be afraid, little flock. For it gives your Father great happiness to give you the Kingdom.

Malachi 3:2-4 (NLT)

“But who will be able to endure it when he comes? Who will be able to stand and face him when he appears? For he will be like a blazing fire that refines metal, or like a strong soap that bleaches clothes. He will sit like a refiner of silver, burning away the dross. He will purify the Levites, refining them like gold and silver, so that they may once again offer acceptable sacrifices to the Lord.

Mark 8:34-38 (NLT)

34 Then, calling the crowd to join his disciples, he (Jesus) said, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me. 35 If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake and for the sake of the Good News, you will save it. 36 And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul?Matthew 24:27 (NLT)

27But Jesus spoke to them at once. “Don’t be afraid,” he said. “Take courage. I am here!

Psalm 34 (ALL – NLT)

I will praise the Lord at all times.
    I will constantly speak his praises.
I will boast only in the Lord;
    let all who are helpless take heart.
Come, let us tell of the Lord’s greatness;
    let us exalt his name together.

I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me.
    He freed me from all my fears.
Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy;
    no shadow of shame will darken their faces.
In my desperation I prayed, and the Lord listened;
    he saved me from all my troubles.
For the angel of the Lord is a guard;
    he surrounds and defends all who fear him.

Taste and see that the Lord is good.
    Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him!
Fear the Lord, you his godly people,
    for those who fear him will have all they need.
10 Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry,
    but those who trust in the Lord will lack no good thing.

11 Come, my children, and listen to me,
    and I will teach you to fear the Lord.
12 Does anyone want to live a life
    that is long and prosperous?
13 Then keep your tongue from speaking evil
    and your lips from telling lies!
14 Turn away from evil and do good.
    Search for peace, and work to maintain it.

15 The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right;
    his ears are open to their cries for help.
16 But the Lord turns his face against those who do evil;
    he will erase their memory from the earth.
17 The Lord hears his people when they call to him for help.
    He rescues them from all their troubles.
18 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted;
    he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.

19 The righteous person faces many troubles,
    but the Lord comes to the rescue each time.
20 For the Lord protects the bones of the righteous;
    not one of them is broken!

21 Calamity will surely destroy the wicked,
    and those who hate the righteous will be punished.
22 But the Lord will redeem those who serve him.
    No one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.

Psalm 37:7 (NLT)

Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for him to act.
Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes.

Revelation 13:17 (NLT)

17 And no one could buy or sell anything without that mark, which was either the name of the beast or the number representing his name.

  1. God is using you to be a beacon to us that will be going through what you went through. I work at a federal prison in Butner, NC, we are not mandatory…yet, but I have a few coworkers that are on me hard to get the kill shot, we even got into an argument on the way to our vehicles on Tuesday evening and I expect this to increase. I warned many of my Christian brothers (inmates) not to take the vax, many did not listen, a few did as I told them as I was hearing it about how unsafe they really were. All I can say is it is up to the Lord for those who are truly Christians that took it what He will do about it. I know it is not the mark…yet and that is coming but what these toxic spike proteins are doing altering the RNA/DNA of cell structures means (in my opinion) that the person is no longer made in the image of God as they have been altered. I hope I am wrong on this but truly not sure unless God tells us. I am trying to reach more guys when I work but have to be careful around some of the people I work with, as I wrote about above. Some inmates are using my Christianity against me, but I will trust in the Lord and will be rebuking those.

    Keep me in your prayers as there are not many of me in this prison truly witnessing to the inmates (and other co-workers as I try to encourage them to do).

    Thanks and may God bless you and keep you safe!

    1. God Bless you sister. I appreciate the encouragement. I don’t believe it is the mark either, however it is both a mental conditioning and experiment by way of testing and perfecting the technology of it, and if folks die, they are considered collateral damage because as the globalists see us, we are useless eaters and their goal is control and population reduction. They have a code of conduct (if you can believe that) which by way of predictive programming in movies and other media, telling us what they are going to do as most see it as only entertainment so when it happens, there is mass cognitive dissonance. All the while the information is publicly available but they count on most being too busy or apathetic to look into it or they count on most dismissing it over indifference and virtues. There can be no room for doubt anymore. This is truly a battle between good and evil. Stay safe sister and thank you for sharing your experience. Keep fighting the good fight for Jesus.

    2. I will pray for you Sarah. You are shining the Lord’s light in a place of hopelessness and sadness. God bless you.

  2. Thank you Ray. Psalm 34 is so beautiful. We seek refuge under His wings and even in the most difficult circumstances, we are joyful and at peace. How blessed we are to know the Lord Jesus. He lifts us up out of the pit and we walk in His light. I will praise and thank Him all the days of my life. God bless you Ray. Thank you for the podcasts and blog. I find them a great help. It makes me realise I’m not alone in my thoughts on the current situation.
    I am fortunate to be part of a small group of believers that meet weekly to worship and pray. We met all through the lockdown when travelling over 5km was banned. Nothing can stop the move of God’s spirit! Many churches here closed and no arrangements were made for people to meet. I found the churches’ compliance quite disappointing.

    1. Greetings Sister,

      Thank you for your encouraging comment. Yes, many of the mainstream churches have capitulated to this madness and unfortunately, many of the pastors have gone along with it, whereas, per the Word, they SHOULD be speaking out against this evil and telling their congregations to repent and abhor it. Unfortunately, the mainstream church has become more about entertainment, coffee hour and telling people what they want to hear rather than it is about truly preaching the Word of God.

      I don’t know how it is over where you are on the other side of the pond, but a lot of the churches I have seen in America, preach the doctrine of coming to Jesus to be saved but do not speak up enough about the sins folks need to be turning away from (Idolatry, Murder and Adultery being the big ones the Lord is angry about) that are leading to the downfall of many or they are not preaching that those very sins are like a cancer in the body of Christ that needs to be cut out. It will happen regardless if the churches preach it or not because the Word says so. But how can they preach it? They may lose followers which would lead to loss of funding. But you see, those going along with this evil are going to end up losing it all anyway and they will not escape the wrath of God. It is written in the Word what the consequences are for misleading the flock and so that cannot be debated. I read articles about pastors and priests in the churches condoning abhorrent sexual behavior and virtues and that is unacceptable! They are leading people astray and many are young and being influenced by this false doctrine. Jesus warned about misleading the children and yet we have a president who is exploiting children as immigrants and shipping them who knows where and for what. Then lecturing we need to have passports? It’s disgusting and where are the pastors calling out this evil? This is why my blogs and podcasts cover not just the what the Word says, but the many sins taking place. It’s exposure.

      How can God’s people realize what’s wrong and seek true repentance if nobody tells them and delivers the hard truth? That’s not criticism as we are all sinners, but it is the hard reality and it’s tough love.

      There is more truth in online ministries like mine or Just Praise Him for example, than in many of the churches anymore. That is not an arrogant statement, just a hard reality; It’s truth. The Lord has and is -going to raise up many where others have failed to lead those He desires to reach, to Him. I realize at times my tone may be strong how I present the Word and other information but this I feel is my calling because truth be told time is running out and there aren’t too many out there who do it as they are afraid of what others will think of them. I don’t have time to worry about that and I am obedient to the Lord and push forward. Many are called, few accept. I do accept and I love the Lord with all my heart, all my soul, all my mind and all my strength. I think on Him all the time and what He wants me to do, even when He tells me to rest. I always feel there is something more I could be doing or doing better.

      The judgments are coming, the Word tells us that so it is important for many to understand these things, repent and begin living for God and putting Him first. Folks must understand what the Lord wants us to to be doing in the precious time we have left. We are to be witnessing the truth in Jesus Christ and witnessing what the gospel says, not omitting it out of going along to get a long. That doctrine consists of the old and new testament and it does include warnings by the prophets as to what happens to those who are not obedient to the Lord’s decrees.

      This is why (and many are beginning to see it now) there is a dividing taking place. That window is closing and what is concerning to me is that the longer folks finger-point and scoff, they do not realize they are not hurting the messengers the Lord sends, but rather themselves.

      My messages and podcasts will probably begin taking on a stronger tone because I believe that is where the Lord is leading me and Audrey, I appreciate everyone of my subscribers who support what I do here.

      As of right now, the Lord has me studying Jeremiah 8,9,18 and 19 and I am seeking Him to see how He wants me to put this into context for a writing or podcast so be on the lookout for that soon.

      Jesus Bless You Sis, and stand strong in your faith and convictions.

      Ray

  3. Thanks Ray. Pastors at my last church are getting the jab and insist on mask wearing, etc. I didn’t go back when they opened up. There is little to no mention of repentance or getting you to examine your conscience. Many believers seem to be sleep walking and think life is going back to how it was. I don’t think worshipping while wearing a mask is pleasing to the Lord. It’s saying that you don’t really trust Him. What has surprised me the most is how believers got snared by the fear and haven’t broken free of that bondage. God’s love and fear cannot co-exist. Ireland is predominantly Catholic as you probably are aware, however its congregation has dwindled significantly over the last 20 years. The catholic church in Ireland has gone along with the government too. There was just two priests that publicly went against the grain. I began listening to David Wilkerson (RIP) last year on YouTube. He doesn’t water down the gospel. Regards, Audrey.

    1. Jesus bless you Audrey. Big Amen there. Yes I have heard the Catholic Church is very large in Ireland. I grew up Catholic. Have nothing against anyone who still attends Catholic mass but for me I don’t feel that I learned as much as I could have. While I learned the fundamentals of how to treat others and the basic teachings of Jesus and His testimony, the everyday things folks contend with I don’t feel, was covered enough or wasn’t at all when I reflect back on it. I learned to confess sin to priest, not the Lord in prayer. This always felt weird to me and I didn’t like it -it made me very uncomfortable confessing sins to a stranger. The Word says to confess sins to each other and I do when it comes to friends but aside from that I confess my sin only to the Lord when I have been wrong.

      The biggest recommendation I can make for anyone regardless of any denomination in a church is to closely examine what principles the pastor or priest stands on because these principles are what that church is built on. Now not all are that way but this is why discernment is so important and I’m 100% in agreement with you there. While the church should teach everyone in Christ to be in agreement, it should not be doing it in a way that is capitulating with an evil agenda of the New World Order and shutting down or shutting out anyone who raises a concern but that’s where we are. The very fact that a church is willing to make us cover our faces when we are God’s creation and made in His image, especially when masks were said to not work back in February last year (Fauci and many others said it in February last year-the videos are out there), then segregating the congregation over a mandate for the mask or a vaccine is alarming.

      Jesus said a house divided will not stand and dividing us is exactly what they’re doing so the rules that some of these churches are going along with is in direct contradiction to what the Word says. And where is the faith? Jesus healed and He still heals. He didn’t walk around teaching folks to cover themselves up in shame but the demons running around propagating this nonsense are delighting in it while persecution ramps up over the indifference which so many are blind to. I am actually working on a podcast right now where I will be talking about unbelief.

      I love David Wilkerson’s sermons. He nails it all right on the head and that is the kind of preaching I like because it’s not watered down mumbling about prosperity or the same sermons over and over again. He tells people straight up what the Word of God says and the truth of Jesus Christ and that is what we need as we are heading into the tribulation. God Bless you sis, stay strong!

      1. I was raised Catholic too and feel the same regarding the ethos, etc. It has many good parts and it did give me a foundation to build upon. But, we are saved by grace and not by our own works. I still struggle sometimes with that concept. Looking forward to your next podcast. God bless.

    2. Audrey, you’re correct. God’s love on one hand, and fear on the other, cannot coexist. In the U.S., as well, we’re experiencing a combination of fear and legalism within the churches. Mostly, I think, it comes down to legalism. That’s something I can’t respect or support because legalism is always, and I mean always, political at one point or another.

      Too many churches have been caught in the snare. I never thought it would be this way, but lo and behold, it surely is. Masks go on, and masks go off, depending on the whims of the government, and the church just follows along in the most insipid and disgusting manner. It’s like attending a never-ending masquerade party.

      You know, the American evangelist Joyce Meyer was a guest preacher at a Christian women’s conference several years ago where a mistake was made by the kitchen staff. It involved a lovely luncheon, but when the dessert was served, it ended up being some kind of sponge cake soaked in rum. The mature and sensible Christian ladies took it in stride, acted with proper decorum, and didn’t make a show of anything. Some decided to eat it and some did not. But one woman in particular created an unseemly distraction, called the partakers of the desert Godless for consuming alcohol, and then proceeded to dominate the spirit of the whole gathering rather than being gracious and keeping her misguided and inappropriately judgmental mouth shut. She created a wave of division, lots of hard feelings, and even went on to insult the presenter for allowing such a thing to happen even though the guest of honor had nothing to do with the food service arrangement! That woman succeeded in derailing the conference for more than an hour, to the absolute disservice of every attendee. What she did was actually Godless, not to mention just plain rude and ignorant.

      This is plainly what’s happening now. The dissenting voice of an errant minority that has lost its mind is being taken as gospel.

      My church will not stand up boldly to the nonsense, the tyranny, the unreason, the cognitive dissonance, and the hypocrisy. Rather, I’m invited to a dry and uninspired prayer meeting so that we can pray about love and unity and peace all kinds of lofty things, to include I suppose fluffy bunnies frolicking with alligators? It’s appalling because I’ve had to ask, peace with what? Unity with what? Agreement with what? They can’t answer the most basic of my questions; and they don’t want my prayers unless I follow some kind of ridiculous prayer protocol and say the right prayers with the right words, in accordance with their standards of approval! In fact, even though I’ve been as calm as a mild summer morning in expressing my concerns (sans the evident sarcasm I’ve expressed here), I’ve been told to tone it down a notch! Well, in response, I’ve turned the dial off altogether. I associate now only for the purpose of co-leading the food pantry, getting the shopping done, getting the inventory rotation done, making sure we have volunteer coverage, and maintaining community relations with the school next door where they’ve been gracious enough to involve the students in something worthwhile other than political nonsense and spiritual insincerity! I live in a wealthy suburb next to a large city. In that city there are many social problems, to include poverty and food insecurity. Nearly all of our food pantry patrons come from the city because they’re in need of our assistance. And I know they don’t give a hoot or a holler about politics. That’s where the rubber hits the road for me.

      So, looking at what’s going on in neighboring Canada, where to date some 50 churches have been burned to the ground, I have to ask how my church would respond to this? I know the answer. The church would faint and fold.

      I report to Jesus Christ.

      1. Amen brother, I’m in 100% agreement with you on this. This really is a discussion that more and more Christians need to have. There really needs to be some hard questions presented amongst fellow brothers and sisters in Christ and we should not be just going along to get along. That has been the case for years and as a result we can see where it has led. That is not wise.

        1 Corinthians 15:33 (NKJV)
        33 Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits.”

        Matthew 7:13-14 (KJV)
        13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

        14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

        Proverbs 1:15-16, 29-33 (KJV)
        15 My son, walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path:

        16 For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood.

        29 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the Lord:

        30 They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.

        31 Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.

        32 For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.

        33 But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.

        Proverbs 5:21 (KJV)
        21 For the ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord, and he pondereth all his goings.

        Proverbs 14:12 (KJV)
        12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

        Exodus 23:2 (NKJV)
        You shall not follow a crowd to do evil; nor shall you testify in a dispute so as to turn aside after many to pervert justice.

        Job 31:34 (NKJV)
        Because I feared the great multitude, And dreaded the contempt of families, So that I kept silence And did not go out of the door

        James 4:4 (KJV)
        4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

        Psalm 118:8 (KJV)
        8 It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.

        1. Yes, we are not to lean on our own understanding but seek the Lord’s wisdom. I know Jesus will see His people through the days ahead. There is such uncertainty in life right now. Jesus truly is the rock we can rest on when the storm is raging. Tom, serving the needy is a great thing to do. I bet you see the Lord in every person you serve no matter how difficult they are!

          1. Well, I do the best I can! Sure, there are trying moments, but mostly it’s a joy to work with the food pantry. Once in a while I’ll get a stray attitude or two, but we work it! For the month of August, we’re gearing up for a special barbecue distribution where are patrons have ordered in advance the components of a summer picnic. About 5 years ago this was my son’s suggestion during a meeting we attended. He was only about 15 years old and very shy at the time; I was surprised he spoke up! We were going around the table trying to figure out something special to do during the summer time, since we already do special distributions for Thanksgiving, for Christmas, and for Easter. The summer event has now become a tradition and it’s great fun! ???
