Repost: ‘You Should Only Fear Me’

I have been spending time recently in Nehemiah and just as of yesterday, the book of Esther.  I have been praying on what the Lord is showing me in these but last night He gave to me Psalms 73, 75, 86 and 92 specifically.  He is desiring more time from His people.

When I was in these Psalms (listed below) He called me to prayer and began speaking to me that we only need to be fearing Him, in that, we need to be in His ways, paying Him reverence and reflecting on His greatness in addition to believing Him for His ability to protect us -not having any need to fear of those who desire to bring us harm.  We only need to look to Jesus.  We need to be seeking Him and not looking to our own ways which are prone to failure and only allowing for our own understanding but not the wisdom He desires for us that only He is able to provide.

If you stop and think of about it, He really isn’t asking much of us -just more of our time and less in a world that is rapidly changing.

The Lord is filled with much power and Glory and we all need to have deep reverence for His greatness, reflect on this daily and be more active in our daily worship.  Psalms are a great place to start where it comes to daily reflection (I personally find them comforting before going to bed but really, they are fitting any time) because they can teach you how to worship and what to be reflecting on and keeping in our hearts and minds of His glory.

‘My people need only have fear of me if they understand that I am the cornerstone between them and The Father in what comes.  I will be a shield to those who reverence Me and walk in My ways but there must be no delay in choosing whom they serve.  Do you serve me or the ideals, the idols of the world which cannot save you?  Focus on Me My people.  I will remove the veil of deception.  Reflect on all the blessings I have given unto you.  Think on all I have ordained in the world you live and that I made the heavens and the earth.  Think on my mighty power.  Think on the sacrifices I made for you that you may be forgiven, that I may teach you.  All I desire is your calling on Me -your time spent with Me.   I desire your whole heart.  If you will call on Me I will answer.  The situations you encounter may seem impossible but if you know Me you will understand everything is possible that you thought not.  Seek Me and You will find My forgiveness, My protection, My provisions.  Reverence Me and you will be blessed for I will be a light unto thy path.  Do not wait My people for an event approaches that will present many inconveniences.  Those who are walking with Me shall endure for I shall lead them. I will deliver them from betrayal for if they shall believe how I led My people in times past they shall know how I will deliver them now.  I will rescue those who belong to Me.’

It is up to each of us to commit the time to Him each day that He deserves given all that He does and provides for us.

He may have me start on one writing but pause it to do another as I will write what He leads me to but this one I felt was important to get out there what He is communicating to all of us.  I felt in my spirit between last night and this morning, a very strong urgency He needed me to communicate this.  It was very strong.  My friends, as you know, we are living in very uncertain times indeed so please heed His warning on this.  His desire is to help us, not harm us.  We should be spending time with Him daily drawing nearer anyway, but this along with putting on the proper clothing takes precedence over anything the world offers.  Please take it seriously.  Note, He did not specify the ‘event’ and I have been shown a few but all one would need to do is look carefully at Matthew 24 and Revelation 8, 9, 13.

Jesus told us what to look for so we need to keep an eye on that fig tree but keep our focus moreso on Jesus!

May Jesus Bless you all. Thank you for reading.

Verses pertaining to the above;

Colossians 1: 10-11 (KJV)

10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; 12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: 13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: 15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

Deuteronomy 31:8 (KJV)

8 And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.

John 14:16 (NKJV)

16 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

1 Peter 2:5-9 (NKJV)

Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture,

“Behold, I lay in Zion
A chief cornerstone, elect, precious,
And he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame.”

Therefore, to you who believe, He is precious; but to those who are disobedient,

“The stone which the builders rejected
Has become the chief cornerstone,”

and

“A stone of stumbling
And a rock of offense.”

They stumble, being disobedient to the word, to which they also were appointed.

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

Isaiah 42:16 (KJV)

16 And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.

Psalm 23:1-4 (NLT)

The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need.
He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams.
He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name. Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.

Psalm 34: 6, 8-10, 17, 22 (NKJV)

This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him,
And saved him out of all his troubles.

Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good;
Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!
Oh, fear the Lord, you His saints!
There is no want to those who fear Him.
10 The young lions lack and suffer hunger;
But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.

17 The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears,
And delivers them out of all their troubles.

22 The Lord redeems the soul of His servants,
And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned.

Psalm 62: 8,11 (NKJV)

8 Trust in Him at all times, you people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah

11 God has spoken once, Twice I have heard this: That power belongs to God.

Psalm 73: 25-28 (NLT)

25 Whom have I in heaven but you?  I desire you more than anything on earth.
26 My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; he is mine forever.

27 Those who desert him will perish, for you destroy those who abandon you.
28 But as for me, how good it is to be near God! I have made the Sovereign Lord my shelter, and I will tell everyone about the wonderful things you do.

Psalm 75: 2-3, 6-7, 9-10 (NLT)

God says, “At the time I have planned, I will bring justice against the wicked.
When the earth quakes and its people live in turmoil, I am the one who keeps its foundations firm.

For no one on earth—from east or west, or even from the wilderness— should raise a defiant fist.
It is God alone who judges; he decides who will rise and who will fall.

But as for me, I will always proclaim what God has done; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.
10 For God says, “I will break the strength of the wicked, but I will increase the power of the godly.”

Psalm 86: 3-10 (NLT)

Be merciful to me, O Lord, for I am calling on you constantly.
Give me happiness, O Lord, for I give myself to you.
O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive, so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help.
Listen closely to my prayer, O Lord; hear my urgent cry.
I will call to you whenever I’m in trouble, and you will answer me.

No pagan god is like you, O Lord. None can do what you do!
All the nations you made will come and bow before you, Lord; they will praise your holy name.
10 For you are great and perform wonderful deeds. You alone are God.

Psalm 91:3, 15 (NKJV)

3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence

15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.

Psalm 92: 1-2, 8-12 (NLT)

It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to the Most High.
It is good to proclaim your unfailing love in the morning, your faithfulness in the evening,

But you, O Lord, will be exalted forever.
Your enemies, Lord, will surely perish; all evildoers will be scattered.
10 But you have made me as strong as a wild ox. You have anointed me with the finest oil.
11 My eyes have seen the downfall of my enemies; my ears have heard the defeat of my wicked opponents.
12 But the godly will flourish like palm trees and grow strong like the cedars of Lebanon.

Psalm 115:11 (NKJV)

11 You who fear the Lord, trust in the Lord; He is their help and their shield.

Psalm 119:105 (NKJV)

105 Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.

Romans 8: 37-39 (NLT)

37 No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.

38 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

  1. EXCELLENT blog post!! And so true, everyone really needs to heed this warning. I personally know Ray’s walk and his pure walk allows him to hear the Lord very precisely. That is why I come here to read these blogs!
